Maybe Sirius/XM will start making money so they don't need to keep making cutbacks, increasing prices and adding fees. If so, that's good news for subscribers. As far as I'm concerned, the more subscribers the better. It helps spread out the fixed costs. I think Sirius/XM has fixed some of the programming issues created by the merger. I don't listen to the same stations now (IMHO, Deep Tracks is still a mess) but overall it's enjoyable, especially compared to the local OTA alternatives.

Dioneo, I highly doubt anyone subscribing now is doing it because of Howard, if they loved him that much they would have joined 4 years ago. I think people now are just wanting commercial free music and more choices like the rest of it. NFL starting up could also be a factor and it's hard to hear the play by play of a Dolphins/Vikings game when you live in Chicago but on Sirius you can
