Hello All,

We have Shaw Direct in our 5th Wheel and need to acquire the signal each time we camp.

We are wondering what the yellow and red bars mean in the signal strength screen. We know that green is good...and means we have a signal, but quite often we get red or yellow before we get green and just wondered what they indicate.

Thanks

Hi Barbara

When you have 0 signal you see Red

As soon as you start honing in on the signal, it turns Yellow

When you reach approx 70% you get Green.

The next time you have a BAD STORM, check your Signal Strength. It may have gone from Green to Yellow, meaning the signal stength has degraded, but you can still watch TV.

Barbara,

If you are moving around a lot and have an iPhone there's a great App from Dishpointer to help you line up the dish and avoid trees, mountains, buildings, etc.

I'm not certain about other phones.
