I sent several emails over the past few months asking why some first run titles are missing from VoD and have not received any replies. Does anyone on here no why? For instance yesterday's new to DVD releases were Prince of Persia and Letters from Juliet and Shaw only has Letters from Juliet on VoD.

Just curious because this has happened 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months and I want to know if there is some criteria for "same day as DVD" that I am missing or unware of. If so, I will consider buying a Blu-Ray to see these in HD as it is getting annoying playing the gambling game.

Shaw has agreements with most of the movie houses to release VOD movies through our service. I'm sure there are some movie houses that we may not have agreements with and this could result in the movie not being available at all.

As for the same day release that is negotiated on a movie by movie basis. Typically though most popular movies are same day as DVD release but this is not always the case as well.
