My PVR doesn't work, the display that should have the channels shows a 0. First it was going from pvr to vcr record modes then after reseting it, it would work for only a limited ammount of time now NOTHING!!! Please help...

yes they have sent a guy out, he "cleaned it" after he had left is whn it turned into the 0 which after calling said that our warranty had run out and that we might want to buy a new one. We paid 800 for this awhile ago so not really

You need to shaw to reactivate the unit. If your unit won't 'take a hit' I'd suggest opening it up and disconnecting the hard drive then have shaw try again. It sounds like your hard drive has failed at a minimum.
