I live in Calgary and have a Motorola dtc HD box and an HD PVR. I am wondering if I can use these cable boxes in Campbell River using Shaw as well?

Yes, no issues there. Either make a transfer booking, or just close your Calgary Account and call when in BC to open another. Would probably be easier to do a system transfer as that way all your equipment follows you effortlessly. You will have a new account number though so make sure to ask for that as you will need it in any communication.
