Hi, we have had the Sharp LCD for 3 years. It is hooked to a Motorola DSR 530 Satellite by component cables. For nearly 2 years, the set has gone through periods of jumping, ghosting, flashing picture, usually starting with a little flicker at the bottom of the screen. It is often most jumpy during shows with blue backgrounds, especially Jon Stewart's backdrop, very annoying! There is also a 'creeping red moss' effect on black backgrounds. The set does get a lot of use, being in our kitchen/family room. Is it the Sharp's problem and should we start looking for a new TV? I have searched and searched the Web to find someone with the same problem and haven't been able to. Anyone help, please??

These sorts of "jumps, etc" are often associated with a poor connection of some sort, either inside the TV (a slight tap to the side of the TV can often confirm) or from a device feeding the TV signals. Do you see these problems with other items like DVD Players?
