Sharp Electronics announced this week the Aquos LC-80LE632U, an 80-inch LCD TV which the company says will go on sale in Canada in October. Sharp now sells nine LCD televisions which are 60 inches or larger.

Sporting a screen whose viewing area is twice that of a 55 inch screen, the new Aquos comes in black and features a 1920 x 1080p panel with the companies Quad pixel technology, Smart TV functionality, frame doubling, LED backlighting and built-in WiFi.

The LC-80LE632U also features access to a free support feature that lets set owners remotely connect to an AQUOS TV through the Internet and providers assistance with TV setup including troubleshooting and optimizing the picture quality to suit room conditions.

Sharp’s LC-80LE632U model will be available in October for $5,300.
