I have a older type of tv, that has 1 set of video/audio inputs.

How do I set up a DVD to the MTS box, and how do I watch the dvd? I can hear the dvd playing, but cant see the video

If your TV also has a coaxial cable connection, you can use that for 1 of the devices.

You can't connect a DVD to the MTS box, however you can connect 2 devices to the 1 set of inputs on your TV.

If your TV has a set of RCA connectors (red and white audio and yellow for video), you can buy 3 RCA Y-connectors and connect both devices to those connectors and then to the TV.

You don't want Y splitters. You want an A/V selector box.

classicsat is right (shouldn't be posting after midnight ). The MTS box sends a screensaver video signal even when it is "off" so that won't work.

Used the coaxial to hook up the mts box, and the RCA for the DVD
