I'm still PO'd that there would appear to be no mention of a fix for Time Machine over a network (attached to Airport Extreme).
(Yes, unsupported, but it worked fine all the time in Leopard).

So, today, i said, screw it, and did a wipe and clean install of Leopard, thinking I'd just use the Migration Assistant to move all my stuff over onto the clean install from the backup.

Turns out, Migration Assistant don't let you migrate backwards.
Arghhh.....restoring backup now as we speak. :(

Minor update: I ditched my "old" Time Machine backup file that was on my AEBS, and simply started over (having three full sets of data backups at one month intervals, I figured I could live without all of the daily updates), and Time Machine is back to working smoother than ever on my Snow Leopard update.

I guess the moral of the story is that if you're doing TM via the AEBS, you're gonna have to start over with a new starting point.
