I looked, but did not see anything to this effect but, is there ANY way to search for JUST movies that are on or going to be on??? As far as I can see when you search by "theme" movies all that gives you is shows that are "movie" related. Sorry if this is a repeat question.

The Rogers STB is so 1980. What you see is what you get however there is a new HD PVR out in the wild and possibly it has better UI?

No, the new 8642 PVR has the same guide with some minor improvements (better resolution, shows unsubscribed channels in grey). Rogers has said they are working on new guide/search improvements for release this fall, but no details have yet come out.

For now, your best bet is to search for movies using on online program guide.
