I use our sat dish when out camping in the trailer. The last lake we went to I couldn't get sat 82 to work, think there was trees in the way.
A couple phones ago I had an app on my Android phone that worked with the phone's camera similar to the SkyView app, just hold up the phone and the camera shows you were the selected satellites are. Anyone now the name of the app?
Tried a couple but couldn't find it.
TIA

That's the actual name of the app?
Couldn't find it, but did see one called SatCatcher that's 4.69 Cdn, is that the one?

I've tried a bunch of different apps, so far I use Satfinder Lite for locating the satellites using the camera to be sure there's no trees etc in the way and Satelite Director to aim the dish.
Hopefully they work in areas without cell service.

Can try "Satellite Pointer" and / or a "Dish Align". Both free on iphone...
