Please advise us of the makes/models of all your equipment and how each piece is connected to each other piece.
It sounds like you have a Home Theatre in a Box (HTiB) or A/V receiver (AVR)? How are your devices connected to this item? Are they connected "through" the TV or directly to the Surround Sound (should be the latter - probably optical/TOSLink cable from the PVR to the Surround Sound System)? Is the surround sound system on the correct input to listen to the PVR? Reboot the PVR?
