I'm sure they could convert many movies from the past that were in 3D to be seen nowadays. That alone would probably help people in their decision time when looking to buy 3D or not.

Interesting to look at the chart on the DHC front page that Hugh put up - I think the TV manufacturers are wildly optimistic in forecast sales for 2011 and 2012. I mean they do need to create a new market now that everyone has 2-3 big screens in their home, but I don't think 3-D is it. Really they should be working on holographic technology or turning walls into TVs for interactive TV (Farenheit 451 anyone?).

Where do I order my seashells?
