A family friend has a Super8 mini VHS camcorder that has S-video out and composite audio. They want the tapes transferred to DVD. I have a DVD recorder but there is no composite in on it. Is there a S-video to composite adapter out there I can buy for cheap? Would "The Source" have such an item?

The DVD recorder only seems to have composite connections for input.

The Source Has one but it is sold out in Whitby ...

The problem with some of these is they use a passive resistor array to mix the luminance & Chroma signals back and sometimes the quality is not there. But hey, for under $10 it's worth a try
