Not sure how watchable this will be. Kickoff at Friday at 6:45 AM. Saturday's games are at 1 AM, 3AM, and 6 AM (big New Zealand versus South Africa!)

Canada's first match is 4 AM on Thursday.

TSN's taking the NBC Sports/NBCSN feeds this year. A bit of a downgrade and upgrade at the same time, as I guess TSN is less willing to have a full in-house studio show at this time of night (they did their own studio shows for 2015), but a U.S. broadcaster is likely to put more effort in regardless.

It never ceases to amaze me how lazy TSN is when it comes to broadcasting sports versus their American / British / Australian counterparts.

I presume paying the additional cost to take NBC's feed for the RWC is still cheaper than doing their own studio programming. I'm sure I'm in the minority thinking it makes them look cheap, lazy, and like they don't actually give a toss about the sport.

On one hand it's unfortunate, on the other hand, the timing is horrific, with most matches starting between about 1 AM and 6 AM Eastern. Hopefully there'll be a bit of Can-con when Canada finally plays.

TSN did do their own in-studio 30-minute summary this afternoon.

They mentioned in today's summary show, that TSN would be provide in-studio coverage preceding the first Canada game. So tune in at 3:45 AM Eastern on Thursday!

Full-length on-demand video of the Arrows matches are also available on their YouTube channel as TSN doesn't appear to show them on-demand.

Super Rugby Aotearoa from New Zealand started this morning on TSN. Probably the first major sport to resume with full crowds. Two matches per weekend. The schedule is here.

The British & Irish Lions 2021 tour begins today. Unfortunately, TSN no longer has the rights and instead something called Premier Sports is streaming all matches for $50 for the tour.

Seems to have Six Nations as well - which was on DAZN. DAZN seems to be slipping.

To sign up you need to be "Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Georgia, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City " An odd mix.

Pricing doesn't seem to cover the Six Nations ... odd. From the ownership, and the branding (particularly the colour scheme), it seems to be a resurrection of Setanta.

Edit - Six Nations 2021? Hang on - didn't I watch that on DAZN already?
