My Teksavvy cable service has been out all morning. I contacted them and they said that there is an issue in the Scarlett Road area and that Rogers is working on it. They said that some folks have been out for days!

Thankfully, I have DSL and Cable internet connections so this is an inconvenience and not a disaster for me.

I'm quite a distance from Scarlett Road so I'm wondering how wide spread this outage is.

Anyone else out?

My service was out that day as well until later in the afternoon. I'm way down in Swansea. I believe it's a code word they use. As in "scarlet" the colour for either the network component or the cable server for service, if there is such a thing. One Teksavvy tech told me they have had repeated problems with it and that new hardware has been purchased. They are waiting on Rogers to install it.

I was out for at least six hours.
