Rogers Pay As You Go has removed the interactive voice response system when you call *611. Now, you must punch in everything into the headset. Really annoying when you have poor vision and try to type in the 14 digit pin number.... It finally dropped to a CSR who punched it in for me....

I'm so happy!- I haven't noticed yet but i couldn't stand "melanie" -- any minor noise would interrupt my call and she'd say "I didn't get that.." would drive my crazy. But i guess for people with poor vision it is going to be missed.

I've had the "I didn't get that" too... So I know where you're coming from.

The handset entry bypasses the 4 digit pin code query too, now that was smart. They could have left the IVR there for those who used it reliably, or at the beginning, if a person pressed "1" for instance, the rest of the session would be handset entry, if it detected a spoken "Yes" or something specific, then it could go into IVR mode, and make both camps happy..... :)
