Just got a text message from Rogers that as of Nov. 16th, 2010, there will no longer be free incoming calls from other Rogers Paygo callers.

Comment: Seems they're really trying to ditch PayGo service..... :-(

If this was only in areas that offered Chatr service, I'd say it's a move to try and migrate Paygo users to that brand. Since (I presume) it affects all Rogers Paygo customers though, I'm not too sure.

It's simply the Rogers way; get you commited and then slowly begin tightening the screws to extract more revenue and profit from each and every customer of each and every service.

This one's not a big deal for me, but I'm happy that my unlocked phone gives me options.

Unfortunately this isn't limited to Rogers. Every carrier is guilty of "tightening the screws" in some way.

Of course, now that one carrier did this, expect the others to follow suit any time now. :(
