Hi all, I did a search and couldn't find anything so hopefully I can get a little help here. I talked to a girl at the Rogers store and she wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask here.
Me, my sister and my brother in law are on a Family Plan. I am thinking of getting my own plan(because I want a hardware upgrade and my sister just got one on Halloween and I was told that hardware upgrades reset for everyone whenever one person gets one).
So, my question is, if I leave the Family plan to start my own contract, will there be a "cancellation fee" because I am leaving the family plan?

Any insight in to this would be very helpful.

that post talks about converting a "Monthly" line to "Prepaid" thus resulting in Early Cancellation Fee. Have you ever heard of contracts/terms on prepaid? nope.

If your just removing your "CTN" from the Family Plan Account "BAN" then your simply moving your number and its associated Term onto a new BAN, keeping your Term intact, not incurring any Early Cancellation Fee from what I am aware of. THe 2 differences in this senario is the link referrs to prepaid, and the OP never specified, so we'll assume he or she wants to retain their "monthly" price plan.

Hope That helps and avoids further confusion.
