Rogers Broadcasting has announced the purchase of radio stations in London Ontario and Edmonton Alberta from Chum Radio.

On Monday, Rogers said it would purchase London radio station BOB-FM (CHST-FM). On Tuesday, the company announced it was buying Bounce (CHBN-FM) in Edmonton.

The acquisition would bring the total number of radio stations owned by Rogers Broadcasting in Canada to fifty-five. Financial details were not disclosed and the sale of both stations is subject to CRTC approval.

BOB-FM is an adult contemporary station in London at 102.3 FM. The station began broadcasting in 2000 as Star 102.3 but was rebranded BOB FM in July 2003.

Bounce FM is a contemporary hit radio station operates at 91.7 MHz. The station signed on the air in February 2005 as Edmonton's first urban music station but quickly changed format in August 2005.
