My 3 year contract is just about up with Telus TV. When Optic came out they moved me to the new system but kept me on the same contract. I see all these deals for new customers. I have TV, internet and home phone and expect to bundle. What "deals" can I expect for being a long time customer? Shaw seems to send me letter 2 or 3 times a month asking me to switch. Does this give me more leverage?

Any tips from one who has done the renewal dance lately?

Try calling the Loyalty line at Telus. I originally had Telus Internet but was with Shaw for TV. Then Shaw offered me a good package deal; once I told the Telus loyaly line representative what Shaw offered they beat Shaw's price (Phone/Internet/TV). My deal is only for 1 year but once that's up I'll call in and try for another deal.
