On January 17th Shaw enabled the ability to have remote SMTP access.
It will work with PC / Mac mail clients, iPad / iPhone, Blackberry, and Android. Customers must go into the webmail beta site (wmbeta.shaw.ca) and enable their mobile access (turned off by default) under the Mobile Access option in the Preferences tab.
Customers will then have to set up the options on their remote devices using the correct incoming and outgoing mail servers (pop.shaw.ca for incoming and mail.shaw.ca for outgoing) and email address/password combination.
