I am considering buying a PVR to coincide with the Cricket World Cup. Since Canada's games will largely be played during the overnight on weeknights, I will be unable to watch them live. ATN has the rights to the World Cup and has decided to put the games on PPV and sell them one by one. So my question is can I order the PPV, set my PVR to tape it and it will work? I had wondered whether PPV was recordable since there are rights issues etc. that sometimes cause differences between PPV and regular subscribable cable.

With the PVR you can indeed record a PPV. When you go in to set the one time recording it will prompt you to order it.
