I have the Shaw PVR DCX3400 and was wondering if there was a way I could record gameplay from my PS3 and transfer it to my computer, or even do live capturing with my computer. Ive looked around on the forum but haven't been able to find anything.

You can use a Hauppauge HDPVR 1212 which has Component inputs and a USB output to computer. It also includes software to manage recordings.

alright thanks.. i was hoping i could do it with the Shaw PVR tho so i wouldnt have to spend anymore money.
