I am favouring Samsung's but live in a remote location and looking for some advice prior to demoing

YOu give no reason why you are picking a plasma nor why you are picking a samsung plus you give No budget so its impossible to give any suggestions.

I suggest reading the forum and find out what others are buying. That may help you

I have decided on plasma due to price over LCD, refresh rate due to FPS gaming requirements. Im just looking for a recommendation of model for PQ, functionality, OS, built in features such as netflix, widgets. Samsung seemed to offer these but there are different models at the same size for different prices, im not sure why they are different.
Budget is fairly open to around $1000 give or take. Im looking to buy during the sales so any canadian retailer that has deals would sway the opinion
