If you haven't already done so check out Quake Live.
I've tried a few free opensource multiplayer games but the tracking of stats for quakelive and the fact that it runs from your browser is pretty cool.
- Free online 1st person shooter game
- After downloading and installing the game runs from your browser (windowed or full screen)
- Online tracking keeps your stats, frags, ranking, etc.
