I have a 9241 high definition Personal Video Recorder

I do quite a bit of recording of favorite shows.
The problem is when I select a show in the menu to record, it selects it no problem but the TIME is very often not correct for the length of the show. I end up with a 3 hour recording of the half hour show I selected.

It does this for many selections. I will select for example a Comedy Network half hour show, and end up with a 3 hour recording of that channel.
When I go in the edit page of my selected show, it often has a different time than what the menu page has or even how long the recording went for!!!!

Very annoying and I can't figure out what is going on

PVR recording problem

Yes I did.
Not the problem.
Recordings can go 1 hr to 4,5hrs!!!! randomly...

So problem solved!!!

The wife was changing the record times on the PVR with the Start(earlier)/End(late) time feature...
She says it was a joke. I say she thought it was the "manual" way of setting record times!
The programs would always be double in time...
