Wireless phone provider Public Mobile last week announced its service is now available in Markham and will be available in Richmond Hill and Vaughan in early May.

Public launched in Toronto last summer and now has network coverage in the Greater Toronto area now stretches from Hamilton to Oshawa.

In Montreal, Public said its service was now available in Montreal's North and South Shores. Coverage in Montreal’s South Shore extends from Rue de Montbrun in Boucherville in the North to Chemin de Saint Jean in La Prairie in the South. Coverage extends east to Highway 30 and continues straight to the South eastern boundary just before Carignan.

Coverage on the North Shore of Montreal has expanded to include Laval. Coverage extends to the Northwest with Boisbriand as the western boundary, Blainville the Northern boundary, and Lorraine the Northeastern boundary.

Public Mobile now offers wireless phone plans without any contracts in Toronto and Montreal starting from $15 a month.
