Primus Canada wants to provide Canadian consumers in the West with more choice and will make good on that with an expansion of its traditional home phone and high speed Internet services in British Columbia and Alberta.

The communications carrier is also providing competitive prices and plans with additional savings to customers who choose to bundle their phone service with Primus' unlimited-usage Internet.

Rob Warden, Senior Vice President, Residential Services at Primus Canada, adds: "Since its launch in 1997, Primus has grown to be Canada's largest alternative communications provider with several hundred thousand residential customers nationwide. We're proud to provide Canadians with more value for their dollar, a wide selection of consumer telecommunications services and Canadian-based customer service and technical support."

Primus Canada said the expansion means that more than 2 million households in British Columbia and Alberta will be able to access Primus' full range of services including digital home services such as VoIP.

As an example of additional savings to consumers, the company is drawing attention to its Primus Triple Value Bundle, which offers home phone service with three calling features, unlimited high speed Internet and unlimited worldwide calling within Canada, the US and 50 countries for only $85.35 per month.
