Hi,

I got my 75e SD dish and was testing it out. I was able to get 61 signal strength without too much tinkering. I am in a fringe area and my elevation is around 10 degrees.

My problem is power lines. They are about 40 feet away in between my dish and the satellite. Will this cause me to have signal loss, or are power lines generally too thin to have an effect?

thanks in advance,

Unwired.

too thin to cause an issue with line of sight. Also, despite what most believe, the signal does not come in from right in front of the reflector, but actually from roughly 22 degrees above it, which is probably well above your power lines.
