Planning on relocating...

So I'm planning on relocating soon, and I've been wondering lately if I'll be able to use my current Bell HD PVR Receiver with another service, if I'm forced to (assuming I can't get Bell at my new location).

I just recently bought it and spent over $300 for it, so I'd really hope I'd be able to.

Hopefully someone here can inform me about this. ;)

The answer is no, but we can confirm if you let us know who you're considering for your provider. Perhaps you're being coy because BTV is, after all, Canada-wide.
I haven't even found a new home yet, so I wouldn't know. I was just wondering.

Is it just like this with Bell or is there just not a single receiver out there that would work with most service providers?
Most are very provider specific, you might find the odd Cable Co that will activate another providers Digital box but not our Canadian Sat Co's.

You should get a good price for your 9241.
