I have a powered Pico 5/8 switch for my Shaw Direct satellite.

I'm ready to use the HD antenna input on that switch to distribute the OTA signal. I was wondering if any of you use this switch and if so which diplexer you are using. Just trying to get the best fit.

It is my understanding that each output line (before it comes in the receiver) will have to have a diplexer.

Thanks!

You are correct and it doesn't much matter the brand.

What is happening is the lower TV frequencies 50-850 or so are added onto the much higher satellite spectrum 950-2150.

The diplexer just filters of the correct bands and send them to a connector.

I use them to add some satellite signals to my cable lines.

They also provide the all important DC-Pass feature to the satellite lines for LNB power and switching...
