At CES, Panasonic introduced three high definition flash memory camcorders to its 2010 line-up, the HDC-HS60, HDC-TM55, and HDC-SD60.

All three camcorders come in black and feature 25x optical zoom, Intelligent Zoom, Intelligent Auto with Face Recognition, AF/AE Tracking, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Contrast Control, and Face Detection.

New to the 2010 line of HD camcorder is improved Optical image stabilization which Panasonic says reduces blurring from low-frequency vibration and user movement.

Other features included on the 2010 Panasonic HD Camcorder line:
  • SDXC Memory Card support: all three models record content to SDHC/SD Memory Cards and the new SDXC Memory Cards.
  • Eco Mode: Automatically turns off the power when the camcorder is not operated for five minutes.
  • Wind Noise Canceller: automatically detects and suppresses wind noise
  • Touch-Screen Operation: Touch-screen icons displayed on the LCD lets users operate a variety of functions without taking their eyes off of the subject they are recording.
  • Auto Power LCD: Automatically adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen according to the shooting environment. In dark places, the screen brightness is reduced to 1/3 the normal level. In bright outdoor places, the screen brightness is double the normal level.

Pricing and availability for the Panasonic HDC-HS60, HDC-TM55, HDC-SD60 High Definition camcorders will be announced 30 days prior to shipping date.
