I got the NFL package and upgraded my old Motorola PVRs to Pace Summit's with 1TB Expanders. I'll check to see if my Summits received the firmware upgrade tonight when I get home.

However, after setting up the boxes, I noticed that the guide seems stretched across the whole screen and the typeface is fairly blocky. With my old Motorola, I set it to the setting "Stretch" in the settings page, where it would not switch resolutions between SD and HD channels and it would display the guide in 4:3, where, in my opinion, the guide looked a lot nicer. The stretched guide looks pretty crappy.

I was just wondering if there was a way to set my Summit box to a similar setting.

I agree with Scott89, as a new convert to this box since I'm getting Centre Ice (from the Motorola 3416), I prefer the non-stretch guide, if anyone has any info about this, it would would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno, here in Calgary, they seem anal about giving the DCX for rentals only. Had to swap my 3416 since I'm ordering Centre Ice (go Nucks!) and so far, I'm actually more pleased about the Pace box than I thought I'd be... no audio/video dropouts versus the 3416 constantly doing so. If this is the case, I'll live with the guide as is.

EDIT: On the downside, the lack of Firewire sucks, but I do have a HD capture card in the PC, so using the component out to the PC, and HDMI to the TV, solved that one too.
