WWNY-DT was supposed to change from 7 to 8 this morning by 5AM.
Watch us on an antenna? You’ll have to rescan on Monday

Has anyone been able to rescan today and receive WWNY on RF channel 8?
Looks like WWNY's channel change from 7 to 8 did happen today on schedule:

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Rescan day was a success.
On Monday, WWNY switched to new broadcast frequencies because the government narrowed the TV band to fit in more applications.
That meant that those of you receiving us by antenna had to have their TVs rescan to find our new frequencies.
With the change comes permission to up our broadcasting strength, which may improve the signal in some areas.

If you know of anyone who had a problem rescanning, have them call us at Channel 7 at 315-788-3800,

CFTO in Toronto is on RF 8. I wonder if there will be interference during tropo and other weather events?

WWNY successfully re-scanned to channel 8
And in the process, WVNC (NBC Watertown, actual channel 24, virtual channel 45) showed up with 2 more sub-channels, so now it has 7

45.1 - NBC
45.2 - Antenna TV
45.3 - Grit TV
45.4 - Bounce
45.5 - Court TV
45.6 - QVC
45.7 - HSN

The picture quality is pretty bad on a few of those.
I guess that is the trade-off for packing in that many channels.

Since about mid-day, I haven't been getting anything from the Rogers Tower in Herberts Corners (CHCH/CJMT/CITS/CHRO/CFMT/CITY) or from the three French stations sharing one antenna at Camp Fortune (CIVO/CHOT/CFGS)
