An SD simulcast does make it convenient for PC cards and PVRs to record casual programming without chewing up several Gigabytes of HD space. On the one set here that runs off of a Zenith DTT-901, I just leave the Zenith set to "auto" or "set by program" for the aspect ratio.

I have a TSReader dump from CIII-HD Toronto on Aug 31st, the 1st time I was ever reliably able to receive it here, And yes there was a PID 0x41 , 0x44, 0x45 at
2.8 Mbps, .2Mbps, ,2Mpbs as indicated in TSreader, with no association in the Program Association Table. So yeah, if ya had some means to manually have entered them PIDs, like with a PC based tuner, and PC S/W u would have likely received the SD feed back then as well. Of course I didn't look that close until now:)

Snippet
Code:
PID Usage Chart

0x0000 (0.13% ~ 0.02 Mbps)
0x0000 MPEG-2 Program Assocation Table

Just popped in to report the same re Global 41. Of course you beat me to it:)
Indeed it works now...
I think that leaves just CHCH, WBBZ and CBC which is 50/50 depending on the
device for me here.

They are sending EIT 0 thru EIT 3, should be about 12 hours worth (4 * 3 hrs / EIT).
snippet:
Code:
~ $ atsc_epg -a 1 -f 634625000
tuning to 634625000 Hz, please wait...
tuner locked.
system time: Mon Jan 23 20:11:23 2012
TS STT time: Mon Jan 23 20:11:23 2012
MGT table:
   0: type = 0x0000, PID = 0x1FFB, terrestrial VCT with current_next_indictor=1
   1: type = 0x0200, PID = 0x1E00, event ETT 0
   2: type = 0x0201, PID = 0x1E01, event ETT 1
   3: type = 0x0202, PID = 0x1E02, event ETT 2
   4: type = 0x0203, PID = 0x1E03, event ETT 3
   5: type = 0x0100, PID = 0x1D00, EIT 0
   6: type = 0x0101, PID = 0x1D01, EIT 1
   7: type = 0x0102, PID = 0x1D02, EIT 2

I lost PSIP EPG data yesterday on 6.1 Ottawa, but strangely enough not on 41.2 (the SD version) Ottawa.
I noticed yesterday Global Toronto's EPG was back to normal. May have been fixed earlier in the week (?)

Inglewood,
It does come in here in Buffalo.
Agree probably is a little tougher in Fort Erie.
Was always envious as a kid growing up seeing everyone's OTA antenna towers
in that area... in comparison was always none over here.
