Hey, good to see you again! Yeah good tropo for me too, WUTR and WWTI are booming, Rochester was earlier but has quieted down. looks like the far east should heat up!

Forgot to mention, last week I as watching WICU rf 12, normally they have WBUP on 12-2 but they've dropped it for Me-Tv.

Missed out on the tropo this am, when I got home a few minutes ago my tv has WHVL rf27, WKBS rf46 and WJAC in memory ( I left my tv on this am). WHVL has added Buzzr as a subchannel on 29-2, can't remember if it was there last time I got it.

9:21pm Getting all Erie, some Cleveland, some Rochester, WROC has added Laff and Escape on 8-3 and 4.

Forgot to mention WVTT is boooming as well, it's pretty regular for me, every night for the last couple weeks it's come in, not usually over 80%ss though.

Nice catches you guys, wish I tried turning the antenna last night, haven't picked up Sudbury or Alpena before (or Montreal). Hepburn picked up an RF8 from Minnesota last night at 661 miles... According to his log, that 10-2 TEST002 was TVO from Kitchener/Paris.

I think I erred on that rf11 analog. Hard to find what rf11 analogs are left broadcasting, the Canadian databases suck. I think it may actually have been CITO in Kearns (528km). I saw no station identifier, there was a 7 day weather graphic that was legible but details were too snowy.

Nice catch on Alpena dsspredator!

Forgot to mention, I got WQDI Cleveland again this am, they now have a station on 20-5.

Orbot, you should watch those Jon Harder maps, they were 100% last night for tropo, especially Hepburns capture of Duluth.

Zank, thanks for solving the mystery for me. Last night at about 1:30 am, I had an analog video on RF 11. It was good enough quality to make out the CTV logo but the only RF11 analog from CTV that I could find was from British Columbia. This makes a lot more sense now!!

Hey, thanks for the heads up, only the second time I`ve gotten WWNY rf7, also picking up WWTI.

Hepburn`s tropo map was VERY accurate this am and the Harder plots make it easy to see WHEN ducts open, although Pittsburgh was solid all am and just got better as the morning went. You can click on the harder plots and see the timing of the reception, I use the ham signal plot from VE3KSR which I can see from my balcony.

That low power one you got last year on rf31 WIIC came in but didn`t resolve, only the 2nd time I`ve seen something knock off City Woodstock. By far my best low power day, 6 stations all under 15kw, most in the 2-7 range.

I suspect Hepburn might have undersold tonight.

Dsspredator, thanks for the well wishes, I am blessed to have such great height, it makes the hunting easy, but only a 180° degree view.

9:20pm CKWS rf11
9:25pm CKWS rf30

Hey, is Global Toronto down or is WPBS trying to come in?

Yeah I think you're right that it's WPBS causing interference, I can still get Global TO barely while pointed directly at it, but otherwise it's dead. I've never got that one before, so I hope.
