I saw this in a press release today

Optik TV service is available in the Lower St. Lawrence, the Gaspé, the North Shore and the greater Quebec City region.
How long has this been available?

I believe around mid febuary when the launched about 15~20 French HD channels.
Also it would appear they have a-la-carte service,

15 channels of your choice : $13\month
20 channels of your choice : $17\month
25 channels of your choice : $22\month
50 channels of your choice : $34\month

Also they can sub to ktla, wgn, tv38, peachtree and wpix for $3.95\month

Telus OPTIK TV has been on the Cote-Nord since maybe February 2013. It's coming to my home next week. I can't wait to compare it to my Shaw service. One thing: the channels for BC and western canada are not the same for us in QC. i have a bilingual household and we watch a lot of english and french tv. Their QC website has no english option so naturally, you would accept the BC version as it's mostly the same. the difference: the way the packages work and the channels. No HBO yet for us QC folks :0(
I am eager to find out about other's experiences with their tv services.
