Hello, I recently upgraded to Bell HD programming and have my HD receiver connected to my 1080p tv via component cables(red, green, blue). While watching HD channels such as TSNHD(ch 1400) I receive a resolution of 480p as compared to the standard 480i. I am curious if the resolution is limited to 480p by the component cables and if a HDMI connection would bump this up to 720p/1080i? This being said I know that component cables CAN send 720p signals because my PS3 is connected via said cables. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

No. You probably have your receiver setup to output 480p. Check your Bell manual for instructions on how to change the output.
