Onkyo have announced two new mid-priced models to their home theatre Audio Video Receiver line-up.
Features of the new HT-RC260 and HT-RC270 include: Support for 7.2-channel systems, 3D-Ready HDMI-1.4a interface, ability to decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio lossless audio codecs, Audyssey sound equalization and Dolby Pro Logic IIz technology and Faroudja DCDI Cinema video processing to upscale video to full 1080p output regardless of the source resolution.
The step up HT-RC270 A/V Receiver also includes THX-Select 2 Plus Certification, Audyssey MultEQ, and is network capable.
The Onkyo HT-RC260 and HT-RC270 are now available for $499 U.S. and $850 U.S. respectively.
