Any transmission signal changes with Windsor reception for CBC DT-9 ,noticing low signal locks ,yet TVO DT-19 remains fine from same tower ?
I don't see any difference and I have a pretty cheap antenna facing the wrong direction... I'm in Windsor and had to turn it a little to the south to hit both Detroit and the CBC transmitter in McGregor.Any transmission signal changes with Windsor reception for CBC DT-9 ,noticing low signal locks ,yet TVO DT-19 remains fine from same tower ?
What network is CTFV? I'm in Windsor but my antenna is pointed towards Detroit and a little bit South to hit CBC in McGregor.Greetings Detroit TVFAN!
Yes, CFTV is rock solid, 24/7. It's supposed to have several subchannels on it, but only 2 are currently appearing. Something appears to have been blocking it for the last 3 years, since I put up my new antenna, and now it's been liberated, so to speak. I tried getting it during the previous 3 summers nightly tropo events, but no luck. Now it's rock solid and strong. If you got a booster, I'd bet anything that you'd get it. Try this link below for RabbitEars. I believe you'd be just outside of the contour, but with a booster, and a southeastern antenna aim, you'd hook onto it. One word of warning though, the volume on the station is compressed and cranked WAY up; it's much louder than all of our other stations!

Okay, your link says it's 480i, I don't think I want it now. Probably similar to some US independent religious or ethnic stations. The calls are CFTV. It doesn't have a network affiliation - just local sources>>>
Not a clue, antenna hasn't worked since the Preamp crapped out a couple years ago and I don't have the balls to go up there.Hello Gibsons...looks like you old yagi has the long element at the back for vhf low. Can you pick up low power WHNE Detroit on low vhf rf 3 ??? I would be interested to know....thx.

I guess you haven't heard about RabbitEars yet??? BTW, TV Fool is ancient data and it's known for a fact that the webmaster for that website never keeps it up to date anymore, so you are wasting your time if you are trying to get the LATEST programming information from that particular website.I hooked up the Tablo to my outdoor antenna and got channel 15-1, guide says it's some sort of shopping network but Country Music was being played. Unsure what it is. I see only 15-4 listed on AntennaWeb, nothing on TV Fool.
Got 56 stations on the Tablo with my cheap outdoor antenna.
Yes, it's like a sport to get more channels, but most of the ones you pickup aren't worth watching. I was checking out channel 28.1 and it looked like I was back in the old SD days, like some of the other low power stations.Gibsons........15.1 and 18.1 and theyre sub channels are low power stations in Det, you wont get much 1080 or 720 on them. Mostly religious, shopping, ethnic on them........we get them pretty good in Windsor but not much to watch program wise.
I don't like paying for TV, so I didn't get a VPN or Locast. Also read about them destroying you with annoying ads if you don't "donate". Sounds like something I don't really want to be a part of. If they come with a Canadian version for free, I'd try it. Otherwise, I'd rather stay with paying Zero.Hi Detroit - I used Locast for awhile. Pretty good service. I found it was necessary to pay the $5 monthly fee to eliminate adds but not a big cost. I ended up having some issues with cast functionality and haven't used it for the last number of months but no real complaints. Something else to consider if you use Android is Mobdro - excellent option.
You can check out this website>>>I had 6/53 from Lansing booming in last night Gibbons. Its called tropo probagation or tvdx. You can look it up for the exact definition. You should get that great antenna you have on that tower and rotor fixed to have some great fun at night with tvdxing. Remember we can get channels from Toledo also but you have to point that way.
Tropo is more of a nuisance to me than a revelation... it's nice to get far away stations but then you look through your channel guide and other closer stations are missing. 6 and 53 were coming in very strong for hours last night. I never saw it so strong.I had 6/53 from Lansing booming in last night Gibbons. Its called tropo probagation or tvdx. You can look it up for the exact definition.
