Nokia and Bell today announced the launch of the Nokia N97 mobile smartphone in Canada.

The Symbian OS 9.4 device features a large 3.5 inch touch screen tilt display, slide out QWERTY keyboard, an FM transmitter and FM radio, 5 megapixel camera, LED flash, and 32 GB of internal memory.

The N97 also features Bell Video Calling, a new service that lets subscribers on its new HSPA network make and take phone-to-phone video calls with other Bell Mobility customers.

Additional features include: Text, picture, and video messaging, MP3 player, Email, web browser, Bluetooth 2.03 EDR with A2DP stereo audio, and speaker phone.

The Nokia N97 will sell for $600 without a contract.
