Nokia today announced the launch of its Nokia N86 8MP, a dual sliding camera phone with an eight megapixel camera and 8GB on board memory.

Key features of the phone include a 2.6" OLED screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, built-in GPS and WiFI, and microSD slot.

Additional features include dedicated camera, media, volume, zoom and gaming keys, built-in FM radio transmitter and stereo FM radio, speakerphone, text messaging, multimedia messaging, instant messaging, and e-mail.

The Nokia N86 8MP smartphone is now available from Rogers Wireless for $500 without a contract.

The Nokia N86 8MP also comes pre-loaded with Canadian maps, access to 3D landmarks and thousands of Points of Interest so users can take a picture of themselves then share their location with friends through Ovi Maps. Upon purchasing the device, users will get visual guided turn by turn walk navigation for free and global drive navigation free for 10 non-consecutive days and can purchase additional regional licences such as Traffic and Safety.
