Nikon D90 Battery Charger for Europe

1957 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Gino Cerullo
Will be traveling this summer and I need adapters for the electronics we are bringing along.

Anyone know where I can get a charger for Nikon D90 batteries that will work in Europe - specifically Portugal? Do we need a new charger or are there cables available that we can use with the OEM charger we currently have?

This is the only device we haven't got a plug/adapter for.

Thanks!

I don't specifically have a Nikon charger, but these days many chargers (laptop, camera, electric toothbrushes, shavers) have 110V-240V inscribed on them, so all you need is a female North American prong to European male prong to get them to work overseas. Available in dollar stores or electronics wholesalers like Acces Electronique.
Just pick up a set of travel plugs/converters. You can find them at just about any electronics store. You can buy universal sets that claim to work in multiple countries or save some money and buy country/region specific ones.
