Are any games that air on the NHL Network (the Canadian version) exclusive national broadcasts OR are the games that air on NHL Network also available as part of NHL Centre Ice.

I am trying to figure out if I need to sub to both NHLCI and NHL Network to get all games, or if NHLCI will sufface.

Games that are on the NHL Network are also available on Centre Ice, so no you don't need to subscribe to the NHL network.

It would also be nice to have NHL Network in HD, which I am sure is just around the corner. The NHL has said that On the Fly is being produced in HD this year, as they have taken over the old Sportsnet studios in Agincourt, the HD version has been approved, just never launched as of yet.

My guess is that it launches on the day the NHL (exhibition?) season kicks into gear.

I believe that On The Fly HD is largly for NHL Network US, which is already in HD. If NHL Network Canada does launch in HD, I'd probably subscribe though. Its sad that a hockey channel already airs in HD in the US, but doesn't in Canada.
