No more NHL live. They sent me an email.

At the start of the 2022-23 season, your NHL LIVE subscription will not be renewed, you will not be charged, and you will no longer be able to access NHL LIVE.

For the 2022-23 NHL® season, you can watch all the same great matchups previously available from NHL LIVE – including every out-of-market NHL game – by signing up for SN NOW PREMIUM for the same price you paid for NHL LIVE, via an exclusive promo code sent to your email before the start of next season.
Maybe they need to rename the Arizona Coyotes to the Tempe Roadrunners as 20 of their first 24 games are on the road. 6 on the road, 4 at home, and then 14 on the road ... Brutal!

No more NHL live.
I had two chats with Rogers. The first in regarding to picking a feed. They said. Non-national games we can. Games on Sportsnet/CBC we can’t. The second is that we can’t use SN Now outside of Canada. So. If you live close to the border. You can’t watch any games.
TSN’s seven-hour FREE AGENT FRENZY special airs Wednesday, July 13 beginning at 11 a.m. ET on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app. RDS delivers comprehensive French-language coverage of NHL free agency also beginning at 11 a.m. ET. (Bell Media Press Release)
Hopefully they change the policy for watching it outside of Canada.
This contract can't end soon enough.

There is always the VPN option.
I personally like the deal up to this point. Nationally games allowed me to watch whatever feed I want. We will see if it really does change.

That would mean using a VPN set to Canada.

I use SmartDNSProxy. Their phone app when set to the US. Still works on SN Now. However, my Tbaytel app. It doesn't. The app works if I set it to Canada.
The 2022 IIHF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP airs from Aug. 25 – Sept. 4 on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app. TSN’s full broadcast schedule is available here. (Press Release)
Rogers sent the emails 180$ for SN NOW Premium. Didn't have any issues with baseball during summer, I'll give it a try.

"New this season, fans across Canada can live stream more hockey than ever with over 1,000 national and out-of-market games, and all Stanley Cup Playoffs matchups, as NHL LIVE moves exclusively to SN NOW PREMIUM. In addition to being the streaming home of hockey, SN NOW also offers access to Toronto Blue Jays and MLB Playoffs games, Toronto Raptors, WWE Network and all other live sports and original content available on Sportsnet."
Here is the FAQ from Sportsnet Now including what games will have multiple feeds. The way I read it. I would think it is if 2 Canadian teams played. You get both feeds otherwise it will be the Canadian feed.

What NHL content can I expect with a subscription to SN NOW PREMIUM?

Users will get access to the same out-of-market games on SN NOW PREMIUM that they previously enjoyed on NHL LIVE, including games from all Canadian and American networks. As the destination for out-of-market games in Canada, it will offer these same games blackout-free, regardless of which broadcaster is producing the game on TV.

A subscription also includes content not available in NHL LIVE, such as more regional* hockey games for the Flames, Oilers, Canucks and Leafs, Hockey Central, Trade Deadline coverage, NHL Awards, Entry Draft and Free Agency, making it a more complete destination for hockey fans.

How come SN NOW is not available on my device of choice?

SN NOW is available on the most popular devices in Canada, including game consoles, Apple TVs, Android TV, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV. Check back regularly for updates on device availability.

What devices is SN NOW available on?

Can I access Sportsnet NOW from more than one device at a time?

Yes.

A user is able to watch concurrently on up to two devices at a time.

Will radio feeds for NHL games still be available?

Yes. Radio feeds will be available on the NHL app and NHL.com free of charge.

Does SN NOW have all the same features as NHL LIVE?

SN NOW PREMIUM provides the same out-of-market games that are available on NHL LIVE, including games on-demand, plus many exciting features such as goal markers, in-game catch-up highlights, multi-length game recaps and the ability to watch up to four games at once with multi-game view.

Features that will not be available for the 2022-23 NHL season on SN NOW include home and away broadcasts for every game and the ability to listen to radio broadcasts. Home and away broadcasts (where available) will be available for every Canadian team.

Note: Some features vary by device

Are blackout rules the same on SN NOW PREMIUM as NHL LIVE?

For out-of-market games, the same blackout rules apply, but for users in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, SN NOW PREMIUM offers even more games because Sportsnet owns the in-market rights for the Flames, Oilers, Canucks, and Leafs.

For more information about blackout rules, head over to the SN NOW Support Blog.

I’m a French language customer. Will French games be included, or a French package available?

Select French games will be included in SN NOW PREMIUM for the upcoming season, however, a dedicated French pass will not be available.

Yikes. For Habs and Sens fans outside of Eastern Canada, this sucks big time.
I don't think so. I don't think that the French package was subscribed to by many.

One thing I like it. It shows the channel including commercials. Basically Centre Ice but I prefer picking what feed to watch.
Well, before the big Rogers NHL contract, Habs fans all over Canada could just subscribe to RDS and they got all 82 games as RDS was available without blackout everywhere. The big contract in 2014 came and games on RDS were relegated to Habs region, and national games on TVA Sports are few and far between. Then there was NHL Live (then NHL GameCentre) with special French package. The French package was much cheaper than the full package and only showed RDS games, which were Habs and Sens regional games.

And now the package is gone. I understand that in the big picture this may mean very little, but for the fans in this situation this must feel like it is a big FU from Rogers.
I know. I subscribed to RDS to get the Habs games.

An interesting scenario happened. Sens/Jets game. I can watch the Sens feed but blacked out on the Jets feed. I am in the Jets region.

You can watch the Sens feed because you are outside the Sens regional area. You can't watch the Jets feed on it as you are inside the Jets viewing area, so for that you would have to tune to TSN3 for the Jets feed. Same thing as what happened with NHL Live or Centre Ice on cable.
Actually I never had that happened before though. The game was always blacked out on both feeds

Funny thing is. I get both feeds on cable anyways. For some reason. Thunder Bay is part of the Sens region despite not being in the region according to TSN and Sportsnet.
Last night’s Habs/Leafs game was blacked out on all 3 feeds on Sportsnet Now. On all the feeds. It said the Blacked out restrictions for Montreal and Toronto regions. So. I could only watch the game on TSN Leafs feed whether on TSN’s app or TV channel.
