In a broadcast decision handed down today, the CRTC has approved an application by Elliot Kerr to operate an English-language commercial AM radio station in Mississauga, Ontario.

Glad this got through.

This is awful! I like to listen to 930 AM from Buffalo. This new Mississauga station is too close on the dial. I guess I can still write to the CRTC to complain?

The CRTC has no interest in protecting your ability to listen to an American station.

Any reasoable quality tuner should have trouble with receiving 930 wben and the new 960
