The Business News Network (BNN) and CP24, digital television stations owned by CTV Networks, have announced a new television show called App Central explores the growing market of apps for tablets and smartphones.
The thirty minute show, featuring on-air talent Amber MacArthur, Michael Hainsworth and Kris Abel, will report on the latest apps, interview their creators, and offer up an app related gadget review.
“We live in a world where smartphones and tablets have become mobile offices and apps are the way we personalize these gadgets, but how do you know which ones you should pick? That’s the inspiration behind APP CENTRAL,” said Bob McLaughlin of CTV.
The show premieres next March 29 at 8 p.m. ET on BNN and April 3 at 10:30 a.m. ET on CP24. The show will air weekly on BNN Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET and repeats on CP24 on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
Surprisingly, there is no app for App Central.
