The Business News Network (BNN) and CP24, digital television stations owned by CTV Networks, have announced a new television show called App Central explores the growing market of apps for tablets and smartphones.

The show premieres next March 29 at 8 p.m. ET on BNN and April 3 at 10:30 a.m. ET on CP24. The show will air weekly on BNN Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET and repeats on CP24 on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and Mondays at 7:30 p.m.

FYI, Revision3 has a similar podcast show called AppJudgment where they look at apps every week. Nice to see this coming to a TV show, I'll have to try to remember to record it...

Yikes, another one!

Produced by Vancouver based Blink Media Works, AppTV will be a weekly 30 minute show hosted by Mike Agerbo and Maryam Mehrtash. Highlights of each episode will include a weekly countdown of the top apps, help on how to use some of the most popular smartphone apps and various tips and tricks for smartphone usage.
AppTV will launch on April 2, 2011 on THE CAVE, followed by airings on CHEK TV, and SUN TV.
