Was shopping at BestBuy here in Windsor on the weekend, as our TV needs to be replaced soon - see my other thread about the darkened portion of my current TV.

The guy at Best Buy was saying that if we aren't in a rush to wait until April/May, as the 2020 models may be reduced once the 2021 models start coming in. Been about 7 or 8 years since I had to get a TV, so wasn't sure how good the savings might be.

The amount of savings depends on various factors including make and model. I've seen between 10% and 40% on various sets. Be aware that waiting until the end of model year often results in less selection due to the more popular, higher rated sets being sold out. Keep a close eye on end of model year prices as popular sets will sell out fast once they go on sale. The savings can be substantial though.
